Rebellion the Recaller (also Rebellion Da Recaller or Rebellion , actually Bafoday Drammeh [1] or Bafode Drame [2] ; 1979 in Paris , France ) is a Gambian reggae singer

Rebellion the Recaller was born the son of West African immigrants in France. From the age of eleven he lived in Gambia . There he was a member of the band The Inspired Ones , before he started his solo career. In 1997 he released the title One For One , which became a great success in his homeland. His first album appeared in 1999 as a cassette and was titled Departing From These Days . At the Gambian Rap Awards in 1999, he was honored as the best solo artist in the country. In 2003, Rebellion the Recaller came to Germany . In 2004, We must Rebel released his first single in Germany. The title had already been published in The Gambia on Departing From These Days . An album co-produced by Bobby Digital followed in 2008. In addition, Rebellion the Recaller also appeared as a guest vocalist on records by D-Flame , Dodo , Phenomden , Mono & Nikitaman and Gentleman . Today he lives in Berlin . He is a devout Muslim .
